Introducing Volta Music

Launched by Sara Gilchrist in 2014, Volta Music is a new trailer music label. Their catalog currently consists of four albums, and more are to come.

Volta’s first release is Hybrid Epics: Volume 1, a massive, dramatic and epic hybrid/orchestral album, composed by Lorenzo Castellarin, Enrico Cacace, Danny Rose, Elliot Nash and Sam Hamilton. Hybrid Epics consists of “adrenaline-charged orchestral hybrids for action, sci-fi and adventure trailers”.

Volta’s second release is a collection of modern sound design cues, entitled Sound Design: Volume 01 – “a futuristic sound design package for action, sci-fi and thriller trailers”.

The third album from the label, Hinterland, delivers dramatic fantasy and aerial music, on the themes of “darkness, melancholy and wonder”. Hinterland features composers Lorenzo Castellarin, Christian Ugenti, Enrico Cacace and Paul Russell.

The fourth album, Uprising, is dark, hybrid and futuristic; it is a collection of “brutal, unnerving and violent sci-fi setups”.
