Impact Music: Star Dust

Impact Music’s third release is a collection of hybrid/orchestral tracks of fantasy/adventure style, entitled Star Dust.

Fantasy and adventure

Star Dust is a dynamic and rhythmic album, evoking fabulous worlds, adventurous trips, magical encounters… Inspiring and uplifting at times, epic, dramatic or majestic at others, Star Dust more than lives up to its name and delivers stellar music, filled with fantasy.

Tradition and modernity

Combining traditional orchestra and electronic elements, Star Dust’s style is both retro and modern, old fashioned and refreshing. Reminiscent of movie scores, the album offers varied movie themes, transposed to the trailer format.

This concept, the meeting of tradition and modernity, can also be found in the artwork – Michelangelo’s famous painting “The Creation of Adam”, from the Sistine Chapel in Rome, was customized. On the new version, God has his head in the stars…

An album with impact

Intense and powerful, Star Dust lines up with previous releases – CineMaster Series 2012 and Extraction. It was recorded live in the Rudolfinum Concert Hall in Prague, with an 85-piece orchestra. “This is our biggest release this year!”, says Impact Music.

Composed by Serge Colbert, co-founder of the company, Star Dust also feature Matthew Adam, Stephen Hewitt, and the Emmy award-winning Hummie Mann.

The album was orchestrated by Adam Klemens and Hummie Mann, and recorded, engineered and mixed by Greg Townley, who co-produced the album along with Serge Colbert.

purePure: Impact Music’s next album
