Universal Trailer Series: ‘The Vortex Force’ and ‘Hybrid Reborn’
Universal Trailer Series’ latest releases, The Vortex Force and Hybrid Reborn, both offer dark and suspenseful music, combining orchestra and sound design.
The Vortex Force is a collection of “dramatic, futurist sound design worlds and classic sci-fi orchestral action” tracks, divided in two sections: “Cinematic Battles” (sound design oriented), “Orchestral Invasions” (hybrid orchestral tracks). The Vortex Force was composed by David Goldsmith, Gresby Race Nash and Andrew Blaney. You can preview the album on the UPPM website.
Hybrid Reborn is a dark, suspenseful and aggressive album, consisting of “abrasive, twisting and power hungry tracks. Building hybrid tracks with a bolder trailer version [are] also available to spice things up.” Hybrid Reborn features composers Gresby Nash, Adam Salked, Neil Pollard, Steve Everitt, Benjamin Hayden, Paul Whitehead, Harry Valentine and Tom Linden.
