Calliope Music Design: Liberté & Edge of the World

Calliope Music Design is a new company that debuted in April 2014 with five collections of albums:  Premium Cues, Hybrid Cues, Sound Design, Artist Releases and Premium Artist Releases.

Liberté (“freedom” in English) is part of the Premium Cues collection. This majestic and inspiring album consists of three categories of tracks, Uprising, Tribunal and Liberacion, reflecting the different emotional states of a man’s struggle to survive.

Liberté features “large format live orchestra, light electronic elements, live choir and huge feature film style production”. The album was composed and orchestrated by Jeff Marsh, produced by Tim Gedemer, mixed by Greg Townley, and mastered by Louie Teran at Marcussen Mastering.

Edge of the World is a shorter album, belonging to the Hybrid Cues collection. Offering intense, epic and dramatic hybrid electronic/orchestral music, it includes “strong electronic elements, interesting textures, live orchestral elements and a big theatrical film style production”.

Edge of the World was composed by Joshua Crispin and Tim Gedemer, produced by Tim Gedemer, mixed by Greg Townley, and mastered by Louie Teran as well.

The third collection, Sound Design, already includes the albums Electro Therapy (electronic based sound design) and Title Bout (hits, whooshes and booms designed for beefing up title graphics). The fourth collection, Artist Releases, will offer music from Taylor Carroll as well as other composers. The fifth collection, Premium Artist Releases, is currently in preparation.
