switch. Releases Vanguard to the Public
To thank their fans for their support after reaching 3,500 likes on Facebook, switch. decided to make their most epic industry release up to date, Vanguard, available to the public through iTunes and Amazon.
Vanguard, an album of “epic dramatic hybrids”, was composed by Nick Murray, Jasper Blunk and Danny Olson.
“Hybrid trailer music is traditionally upbeat. We decided to slow things down”, switch explains. “The result is truly modern productions with massive orchestral epic themes. We wanted to develop a solid hook in each of the cues and milk it. We feel this provides a really strong opportunity not just for licensing, but for branding Hollywood films.”
Vanguard was recorded at AIR Studios, London, with the English Session Orchestra and Britten Sinfonia Voices, “to achieve the best possible sound”.
Last but not least, one of the cues, “Druzhba”, was featured in the Snowpiercer trailer!
