Shockwave Sound: Massive Impact Vol. 09
Shockwave Sound’s Massive Impact series now includes one more album of cinematic music.
Massive Impact Vol. 09 offers epic, cinematic orchestral music, full of fantastic adventures. According to Shockwave Sound, “This music has that ‘awesome’ and powerful feel of epic Hollywood productions. Suitable for epic trailers, sci-fi and fantasy, war and conflict, amazing journeys and discoveries. Many of these tracks start out fragile and with a pensive nerve, only to grow, grow and rise up into an epic, huge climax.”
Unlike several of its predessors, Massive Impact Vol. 09 doesn’t offer any track with male solo vocals. However, several cues contain beautiful female solo vocals instead, such as “Ancestors Legacy”, “The Fountain of Life”, and, above all, “Heart of Atlantis”. “Call for Titans” and “When Heroes Return” have great build-ups.
This ninth volume was composed by Iouri Sazonov.
