Shockwave Sound: Pirates Vol. 03
Shockwave Sound released another album dedicated to self-appointed pirates! All you need to do is get a red bandana, a parrot, a bottle of rum and reduce your vocabulary to three words: Yarr, Harr, Arr. These words are more then enough to express any thoughts of a pirate.
Pirates! Vol. 03 features orchestral adventure cues capable of underscoring any adventurous life situation of a buccaneer: pillage, plunder and loot. “This collection has that grand, “amaze-ifying” sound of the big screen, with plenty of sword wielding action and daring escapades.” The album consist of 14 unique compositions in addition with alternate mixes, no choir version etc. composed by Jon Adamich. Head over to the Shockwave Sound website to listen to the tracks!
Pirates Vol. 03 is currently not available to the public for purchase. For licensing information, visit the Shockwave Sound website. It is a royalty-free album.
Awesome new album! Very swashbuckling and modern, yet a breath of fresh air, being different from the overdone Pirates of the Caribbean sound.
That first track has an opening that is a complete lift from David Arnold’s “Independence Day” soundtrack! (Talk about Pirates indeed!) Shame it’s on Shockwave sound with it’s annoying anti copying “preview” announcements all the way through- I stop listening as soon as I hear that.
