Trailer Music News presents the third and final chapter of the interview with Kaveh Cohen and Michael Nielsen; composers for the Full Tilt Library, distributed by Groove Addicts.
In this part Kaveh and Michael discuss the aspects that make composing for trailers unique, and what other projects outside of trailers they have worked on. They conclude with a message for their fans.
The cue "The Fallen", from their newest release Full Tilt: Rising, is used in the video. You can listen to more of their music on Facebook or Kaveh's MySpace.
You can watch the interview in HD below, on Vimeo, or on YouTube. (Part 1) (Part 2)
We did the interview at Kaveh's studio, but Michael was kind enough to send some pictures of his studio, and you can check them out below, by clicking to enlarge.
Groove Addicts releases Full Tilt Rising
Groove Addicts has updated their trailer music website, to feature their new album Full Tilt Rising. As you know, Michael Nielsen, and Kaveh Cohen were working hard on it, and it appears that it's now officially been released. The artwork is stunning, and from the tracks that we've heard already in trailers, on Facebook, and on MySpace, the music is as well.

The website now has an 'Our Work' section where you can view trailers that have Full Tilt's music featured. One listed is the Japanese trailer for Avatar, which uses the cue "End Game" from Full Tilt Rising. Also listed are the trailers for The Wolfman, and Prince of Persia.
(On a separate note, I should say that the third and final chapter in the Full Tilt interview series will go live this month. So sorry to keep you guys waiting.) [UPDATE: My computer broke a couple weeks ago, so it will take a little longer, as it's getting fixed. Looks like it'll have to wait until the new year. :( ]

Thank you Kaveh and Michael for taking time to do the interview! Thanks to Ray Borda who conducted the interview. Thanks also to Collin Perry for the awesome scoring session footage used throughout. Sorry for the delay in getting it up, but I hope it was worth the wait. (Part 3 should be up within the next two weeks)
Interview with Michael Nielsen and Kaveh Cohen - Part 1
Hello everyone, and welcome back! Read Tyr's post below this, if you haven't already. ;) While the site was under maintenance, we went live with the first part of a long overdue video interview with the composers of the Full Tilt trailer music library.
I'd like to apologize for the delay in getting this up, but it would take days to describe the technical difficulties I experienced. However, it worked out for the best, because Kaveh, and Collin Perry, sent me some tracks, and new HD footage from their most recent recording session in Seattle, for their newest release "Full Tilt: Rising". You'll find a bit of that at the end of this, and there will be more in the next part. Speaking of which, because I'm extremely busy right now, moving back out to California, the second part will go live next week.
