Trailer Music Live can travel to your city as well!

Hoy, hoy! It seems we don't need to wait that long to attend to a Globus concert like we had to do for the second one. Because Globus is planning further concerts all around the world and they need your suggestions where should they travel. As you can read on Facebook:

TELL US WHICH CITIES WE SHOULD COME TO ON OUR NEXT WORLD TOUR

Just one trailer question: when was the first world tour? ;) Altough I think there are so many other conditions when a concert is organized so don't be disappointed if your city will not host any Globus concert.

Immediate Music also posted an update on their Facebook page as well. It reads:

TELL US WHICH IMMEDIATE MUSIC SONG OR MOVIE TRAILER YOU LIKE THE MOST

Immediate Music is asking your opinion about their music.  Maybe for their upcoming 2010 release?  Or maybe they're just curious.

There are already 104 comments between the two updates!  Any readers of this site, have an opinion?  Comment below!

Update: Maybe the question narrowed to Paris, Brussal or London?

Yoav talks about TML!

Hoy, hoy! You probably read on Globus' MySpace page: "The show was a huge success." and you can even read there this one: "Keep an eye for more tour dates hopefully in the future!!" And as we are trying to be a good journalist and we couldn't make do with this less informations so we couldn't stop to ask Yoav Goren about his feelings after the concert:

I feel that TML came off quite well, considering that I was quite concerned the entire day during the dress rehearsal and sound check. The orchestra had it's best performance during the show compared to the rehearsals, and the choir was simply - awesome. I can't say enough good things about the dedication, passion and musicianship of the Angeles Chorale. Our conductor John Sutton was incredible in working over 100 musicians together as a tight unit, and drummer Todd Waetzig was the glue and the power behind the dense orchestral rock sound.
For me, there were two very important and seemingly distant goals for the first TML - to get the live sound close to the recorded material, and to have an eager public response to such an exotic cultural event enough to fill up the theatre. In this regard, I consider the Broad Stage TML to be a success! I was, and my trusted sound engineer and other associates, very happy with the live sound - powerful, full, with clarity and separation, and not "hurting your ears" loud. The live mix was indeed able to capture the balance of all the instruments and convey the emotion of the material. The sell out crowd (with people without pre-sold tickets being turned away at the door) was really able to get an essence of what Immediate and Globus' epic music is about. I was humbled to encounter a four minute standing ovation at the end of the show from the audience.

So now (actually tomorrow) we begin the process of putting together all the video, photos and other promotional material together into a press kit which will serve as our calling card for possible future TML in other venues in both the US and Europe. It will be a long road to travel, but I am very encouraged by the musical outcome of TML, and I know the audience really responded well to it. Already I have people in the UK and Germany starting to generate interest in TML. As I said, it will take a while to build up interest, but I am hopeful.

News for today

Hoy, hoy! There is news from Immediate Music on almost every day. Here are two more.

  • The upcoming album from Imperative record which was composed by Larry Groupe got a new cover art. The CD „features massively epic, emotional and melodic orchestral music composed for a European Docudrama”. Just to remind you it will be released winter of this year.
  • If you are interested in how many tickets have been sold so far go here and then click on 'Select Tickets' button and on the map of the auditorium you can see which seat is available and which is sold.

We need you!

Hoy, hoy! Well I've talked with greg about Trailer Music Live and I think we agreed that it must be successful if we ever want to attend to a similar event. So I think we should help Immediate Music to promote the concert. We came up with some ideas such as

  • girls. Just think of the screaming theory: If one girl screams for a band a lot will do.
  • Celebrities. We should pursue Bruce Willis to mention the concert in Late Show with David Letterman
  • and much more like Suicide Squad from Life of Brian.
  • Obviously we rejected most of them.

Of course we got some useful ideas. What can you do if you are sitting in front of the screen and burn in the desire of fire to help Immediate Music.

  1. First thing you can do is putting this banner into your signature on every forum you talks and link it to TML website.
  2. Second we should make a forum thread on every site where people might be interested in this concert such as movie sites, music sites, etc.

Well if you help promoting just leave a comment here about where do you promote it so we can check the progress here. Important: I would like to ask everybody to do it in appropriate way. Do not spam, don’t do in an aggressive way. So in one word: do not bring shame on trailer music community nor Immediate Music.

Any more other ideas?

Globus Concert's Date

Hoy, hoy! According to Globus MySpace’s page the upcoming concert will be held on the 27th of June in Los Angeles. They also would like to know how many fans live in California. Ticket details are still unknown, but hopefully they reveal more info including this as well.

Also Immediate Music needs us to promote the concert through the internet. Click here for more infos. They offer Globus T-Shirt, signed CD, free concert ticket to the show in LA in exchange for the help.

Epicon Concert? Confirmed!!

Hoy, hoy! How do little kids feel when their dreams come true? Maybe as I feel now. Today MJM brought my attention to this wonderful news and there is nothing else that can make this day better. Earlier I mentioned that MJM asked Yoav Goren if they plan further Epicon concerts and Yoav's reply only raised our hope, but they decided doing more live shows and here is the confirmation:

Also, we're putting some shows together, so keep a look out for tour dates!

Of course everybody would like to have a concert next door, but I am interested in how far would you travel to attend to one of the shows? I live in Hungary so I would travel to Prague or Vienna without hesitation. Travelling further is a matter of time and money.
