The Masterpiece: Hans Zimmer & Thomas Bergersen’s Music in Concert
The second edition of The Masterpiece, a live concert event, will take place on June 28, 2014 in Iasi, Romania, and will feature music by maestros Hans Zimmer and Thomas Bergersen.
Produced by Ciprian Costin, The Masterpiece offers to “experience the spectacular production of modern film music – live”.
The first edition of The Masterpiece succesfully took place on March 23, 2013. It featured film music by Hans Zimmer, John Williams, James Newton Howard, John Barry, Wojciech Kilar, Guy Farley, Zbigniew Preisner and Gerard Marino, as well as epic compositions from Thomas Bergersen and Ivan Torrent. The concert was performed by the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra and solo musicians such as cellist Tina Guo and ethnic Mongolian singer Uyanga Boldbaatar.
This year, the event focuses on Hans Zimmer and Thomas Bergersen’s work. The concert is free, and no entrance tickets are needed. For more information, visit www.themasterpiece.ro, Facebook or Twitter.
Is there a DVD ou BR of these concerts ? On Youtube, the quality is bad, and it’s a pity to see these performances !
