International Music + Sound Awards 2014: Winners Announced!

Started in 2011, the International Music + Sound Awards celebrates music and sound design in the media.

After much anticipation, the winners of the 2014 edition have been announced, and include compagnies such as switch., Extreme Music and Universal Publishing, among many others.

Nick Payne, co-founder of the International Music+Sound Awards comments, “it’s been overwhelming to see such an impressive array of work entered from all four corners of the globe. With so many outstanding entries, winning an International Music+Sound Award is truly a mark of excellence and we are delighted to congratulate all winners in each of the categories.”

Co-founder Dan Neale says: “We’re really proud to be the first dedicated music and sound awards anywhere in the world. We have now inspired organisations, magazines and other awards programmes to raise their game and take composers, supervisors, sync teams and sound designers seriously by recognising their achievements. While it’s not mission complete for us – there are definite signs that our awards have had an impact. That’s only possible with the help and input of our board, sponsors, jury and the fantastic work that we see year in year out from the entrants. Congratulations to all winners… your win is thoroughly deserved.”
