Theta Sound: The Dark Symphony

The Dark Symphony is the debut album from up-and-coming composer Corentin Sauvage, also known as Theta Sound. Consisting of thirteen tracks, The Dark Symphony features dramatic and action-packed hybrid/orchestral tracks.

“I created this album with a great pleasure. If I had to describe the album, I would say this is an epic powerful, dark and colored tale. I wanted to demonstrate myself I was able to mix synthetic sounds and more traditionnal instruments in a same project. I’m quite proud of the result and I hope the audience will enjoy as much as me.”

Official video promo, edited by Daniel Goland:

Why the name The Dark Symphony? “Like every symphonies, mixing different moods in the same musical work, like us, like human being : the music is not linear. We each show a dark side, and this album shows a bit my own dark side, mixing melancholy, anger, passion, joy, pain, hope, distress, sweetness… At first, the album included 12 tracks. And then, I added a last track : “The Hope Keeper”. It was important for me to finish this dark tale with a positive touch.”

The Dark Symphony is currently not available to the public for purchase. You can listen to the entire album on the Theta Sound website however. For licensing information, contact Corentin Sauvage.
