Cavendish Trailers: ‘Dark Drama’ Album Series

Four Cavendish Trailers albums just went out; respectively entitled Dark Drama: Orchestral, Dark Drama: Indie Rock, Dark Drama: Electronic, and Dark Drama: Percussion, they form aDark Drama’ series.

Dark Drama: Orchestral delivers epic, melodic, suspenseful and of course dramatic music: dark, building hybrid orchestral trailer cues for cutting edge cinematic action”, according to the Imagem Production Music website.

Dark Drama: Indie Rock features rather epic indie rock, complemented by orchestra and choir: “brooding indie and post-rock trailer cues with orchestral and electronic elements for intelligent action and thrillers”.

The result is actually more trailer-esque than indie!

Dark Drama: Electronic offers dark, hybrid, massive music: “cutting-edge hybrid electronic trailer cues for smart blockbuster action.”

The last item of the series, Dark Drama: Percussionfocuses on percussive tracks and sound design.

All albums were composed by Chris Haigh, Kavin Hoo, Dan Graham Popplewell, Audio Android and Rob Oxenbridge.

These albums are currently not available to the public for purchase. For licensing information, contact Imagem Production Music. The Cavendish albums are distributed by Imagem; you can follow them on FacebookTwitter and Youtube.

  1. Chris Haigh is one of the very best composers out there. He just nails the urgency and power needed to drive the music to a climax and doesn’t sound samey. Great stuff.
