Jon Adamich’s Kickstarter Project Olympus

Composer Jon Adamich, well known for his work for trailer music companies and production music houses such as Shockwave Sound, Sonic Librarian and Sound Adventures, just announced his first solo album, Olympus.

Olympus was inspired by the gods of Greek mythology.

“My lifelong dream is to create an orchestral album that brings to life the imagery and emotion of the Greek Gods of Mythology”, Jon Adamich explains. “You’ll feel the wrath of Poseidon, the ruthless warrior of the seas contrasted to Hestia the always veiled, shy goddess.”

Olympus features indeed epic, heroic and adventurous orchestral music. “Featured is the opening track of my album entitled “The Passage to Olympus” that begins our journey up Mt Olympus where we will soon encounter Zeus, the King of the Gods.”

The final steps leading to the release of Olympus will include the recording of live solo instrumentalists and vocalists, commercial mastering… “As of now, I am using virtual instruments (think of realistic synths), though they do not capture the realism of a live performance. As strings are one of the most important aspects in this album, a string orchestra recording will truly bring this album to life! “
