The Alchemist 2.0: Meltdown, New Album From Alchemy Music

The trailer music company Alchemy Music just released a second album, The Alchemist 2.0: Meltdown.

It features remixes of the tracks from their first album, introducing dubstep elements and adding more industrial rock.

“Announcing the arrival of Alchemist 2.0 – Meltdown. An unstoppable, driving force of apocalyptic terror drives hard and hits with cataclysmic force. Hellfire rains down with Dubstep/orchestral hybrid sections and a surreal infusion of industrial rock. Dubstep style synths, earth shaking subs, colossal guitar, rock drums and massive wobbles thunder through electronic driven ambiance.

Here is a video interview with composer, producer and engineer Ryan Bould, who worked on the album:

The Alchemist 2.0 – Meltdown is currently not available to the public for purchase. For licensing information, visit the Big Band & Fuzz website or the Alchemy Music website.

Alchemy Music’s first album, The Alchemist

The company’s first album, released in 2012, offers dark and aggressive hybrid/orchestral music, with heavy guitars and electro sounds; some of the tracks are action-packed and suspenseful, others feature scary and menacing moments, with dissonant instruments and eerie atmospheres.

“A dark and enticing seduction of shock and awe. An electronic driven ambience with a touch of industrial rock. Big hits, awesome transitions and edgy sounds.”

The Alchemist was composed by Yoni and Amy Gileadi.

One of the cues,”Fatal Prophesy,” was used in the trailer #3 for A Good Day to Die Hard.
