West One Music: Epic World

Epic World is West One Music’s new epic release, featuring, as its title suggests, epic world music: you will find ethnic vocals, tribal percussion, celtic themes, or oriental influences, mixed with orchestra and sometimes choir as well.

Some of the cues are massive, such as “Tribal Battles” and “Titans of War”, while others offer a more ethereal, mysterious atmosphere, like “Journey to the Abyss”.

Epic World is meant for movie trailers, TV spots and other similar promos: it is an album of “epic action cues for promos and trailers.”

According to the West One Music siteEpic World was composed by four great artists, respectively “Orchestra, Pads, Synths, Ethnic Voice” (yes!). If you have a closer look at the webpage, however, you will see that the real composers are Daniel L. Heath and Jane Antonia Cornish.

UPDATE – February 08, 2013: Epic World is now available to the public for purchase through iTunes and Amazon.
