Q-Factory: Final Reckoning

Q-Factory just released a compilation of their best tracks to the public.“We just released an awesome collection of Epic Action music from our Premium Series (live orchestra and choir) on iTunes”, Q-Factory says.

The name Final Reckoning comes from the title of the first track of Q-Factory’s album Epic Action 1. Final Reckoning is a compilation of the library’s best trailer music pieces from two albums of their Premium Series, Epic Action 1, and Epic Action 2. While Epic Action 1 was recorded by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague using an 80-piece orchestra and a 40-piece choir, Epic Action 2 was recorded in Lost Angeles in various studios.

Final Reckoning features various composers, amongst whom Robert Etoll, owner of Q-Factory, and Veigar Margeirsson, who did many tracks of this compilation. The collection offers epic, dramatic or uplifting trailer music cues, with  catchy and powerful melodies –  for instance, “Eternal Empire”, “Final Reckoning”, “Dominion’s Reign”, “Heroic Ascension”, “Intrepid Spirits”…

My only regret: “Heaven’s Triumph” and “Quest for Glory”, two fantastic cues from the Adventure album, are not part of this compilation.

About Q-Factory

Q-Factory is a library created and owned by composer Robert Etoll, who has an extensive experience in trailer music: “for the past 20 years, Etoll’s original scores and Q-Factory music library have set the standard for musical integrity, superb production values and an uncanny ability to provide exactly what clients are looking for”, according to his site.

His library Q-Factory specializes in licensing music for motion picture and television advertising, and it has numerous credits in trailers and TV commercials. “Etoll was one of the first to respond to the growing desire of trailer producers and editors to have high-quality, easily licensable original music cues and aggressive, impactful sound design at their fingertips. The result was Q-Factory, which in no time became the preeminent boutique music library in the theatrical trailer and television promo industry, with thousands of placements all over the world.”
