Chappell Music: Simply Choir

Do you remember that scene of Futurama when Bender wants to open his own theme park after he was casted out from one on the Moon? “I’m going to go build my own theme park, with blackjack and hookers…” – he said – “In fact, forget the park!” This funny quote came into my mind when I first listened Simply Choir by Chappell.

You can spot the same concept at this album. “I am going to compose my own epic album with orchestra and choir… In fact forget the orchestra!” The remaining part is the very essence of epic music. The overwhelming choral sound dominate the whole sonority, reminding the Christian chants used to be heard in the churches. All the 19 songs composed by John Ashton Thomas featuring live choir.

Simply Choir is currently not available to the public for purchase. For licensing information, contact Chappell Music.
