Novem Music: Interview with Koke Núñez

Koke Núñez, founder of Kokenovem, takes a fresh start with his new company, Novem Music, which aims to make music for motion picture advertising. He kindly accepted to talk about his new project.

Trailer Music News: Tell us a little bit about yourself. When and why did you start composing music?

Koke Núñez: Hi everyone! I’m Koke Núñez, from Seville, a beautiful city in Spain. I started composing music in 2010, although I have been a huge trailer and soundtrack music fan since I was a child. I am very creative, so I composed songs in my head and I felt the need to turn this music to reallity, so I reported for a long time and started writing songs. Today, I am a self-taught composer and a graphic designer. I compose my songs for licensing and collaborations.

TMN: Can you talk about your new project, Novem Music? What can we expect from Novem Music that wasn’t already featured by Kokenovem?

Click to read moreKN: Novem Music is a new company, to which some other composers may collaborate, not just me, Koke. We want to bring Novem Music beside the trailer music masters and let people now that there are very good and talented composers here in Spain. We want to participate with some others and be one more of them. We will release albums and try to find a distributor so that our music can be licensed and used in commercials. Gradually, we will move forward.

Kokenovem was more personal and not so open and ambitious. I’ll keep reporting to anyone who knows Kokenovem, so that eventually they will all follow Novem Music.

TMN: With Novem Music, you take a more professionnal path. What are your plans and hopes for the future?

KN: We are currently working on three new albums that will respectively offer epic, environnemental and fantasy themes. We are working with several composers, including guys from Epic Soul Factory, and preparing some suprises (hahaha). Once these albums are finished and mastered, we will send and present them beside Novem Music to find distributors and be known. I am very happy with this project and hope to go ahead with others. I would like people to appreciate and get attached to Novem Music, as it is a project which was born to being a fan to become one of the great ones.

We will keep you informed about the news, both Trailer Music News and the rest of our fans.

I would like to thank Trailer Music News on behalf of Novem for taking this short but interesting interview, as it helps us to progress further in this complicated world. Thank you very much, again. Regards, Koke Núñez.

TMN: thank you and good luck with your project!

The three upcoming albums are named New LandsButterflies and The Epic Chronicles I: Olympus. Here are some preview tracks:
