1 Revolution Music: Big Opens & Epic Themes Vol. 01

1 Revolution Music is a library that was created by Yoav Goren and Jeffrey Fayman last year. “The main focus of the newly established 1 Revolution Music catalogue is it’s offering of an abundance of scoring choices for all areas of contemporary television programming. The signature high quality music is contributed by dozens of seasoned television composers who have produced music for hundreds of television programs worldwide.

“Writing and Producing hands-on in every aspect of the production process are Emmy Award winning composers Yoav Goren and Jeffrey Fayman, who are now bringing the same superlative compositional standards to the 1 Revolution Music library that they pioneered with their iconic trailer music company Immediate Music.  1 Revolution is revolutionizing the variety and character of underscore tracks for all types of television programming in the same way Immediate Music branded the sound of modern trailers and television promos.”

Several albums have already been released but Big Opens & Epic Themes 1 is the first truly epic album to be featured in the catalogue. “Launched in August 2010, the initial distribution of the 1 Revolution Music catalogue comprises 31 virtual CDs, each consisting of 15 unique themes along with variations […] Subsequent monthly updates through the end of 2010 will complete the second phase of production.”

According to the blog of 5 Alarm Music (who distributes 1 Revolution Music), “Big is small word when describing Big Opens And Epic Themes 1.  A few words that might do this CD’s emotive forces justice would be GINORMOUS, COLOSSAL or HERCULEAN.  All caps is a must.  It’s like a cyclone electrifying every nerve of your body all at once.”

You can check the album yourself on BeatboxMD. Amongst the various composers of the album, you’ll find Aleksandar Dimitrijevic and John Samuel Hanson, who are both very talented and worked Immediate Music.
